No. Only the latitude and the longitude are engraved, on two lines. The address you type is used solely to find them: it does not appear on the bracelet.

The coordinates are engraved to four decimal places, which is about ten metres. How accurate they are depends on what you type: a full address points to a house, while the name of a town points to its centre — “Cap Ferret, France” returns the centre of Lège-Cap-Ferret, several kilometres from the headland. The coordinates we find are shown before you buy.

The field looks for an address or a place, not a point. A pair of coordinates typed as they are will be matched to the nearest known address, which can be a few dozen metres off. The summary always shows the coordinates that will go to engraving: check them before you confirm.

The bracelet cannot be added to the basket until a place has been found, and a message says so: no engraving ever leaves blank. Try a simpler address — the street and the town without the number, or the town and the country.

No. The engraving uses decimal degrees, in the form “44.3506° N”, on two lines: that is what stays legible on a plate 17 mm wide.

Measure your wrist with a soft tape or a piece of string, just below the bone. Size 1 covers 15 to 18 cm, size 2 covers 18 to 21 cm, size 3 covers 21 to 24 cm; two children’s sizes, 11 to 16 cm, are available on some models. Each bracelet is then adjusted by pulling on the cords: the size gives a comfort range, not a fixed measurement.

The braided marine cord handles water without trouble. Cherry wood is a living material: avoid long baths, swimming pools and saunas, and dry it if it gets caught in the rain. It develops a patina over time, which is normal.

A drop of jojoba oil, or any neutral vegetable oil, on a soft cloth whenever the wood looks dry or dull: it feeds the wood and revives its colour. Nothing else is needed.
