A baby’s arrival as a film premiere: the first name as a giant title, a tagline, a sequel-style subtitle (“Episode 1: The Big Day”), and the credits below — showtime, running time, weight, filming location, “a production by Aoife & Conor”, and the special guests: big brother, Nana or the cat.
In the middle, three five-star reviews signed Nana, Grandad or Uncle: “We cried. Then we cuddled again.” You pick them from our suggestions or write your own — often the person giving the gift signs them. A first name and a date are all it takes: the rest is optional. Four styles, from the midnight blue and gold of the big blockbuster to the black and white of a local picture house, via yellow comedy and arthouse.

Is what I see what I will receive?
Yes: the preview is composed by the same editor as the print, and a “Check your poster” screen opens before the basket. The faded examples in the credits are never printed.
Are the texts the same in every language?
No: taglines, subtitles and reviews are written for each country, not translated. The French poster says “Sortie nationale le…”, the English one “In cinemas…”, the German one “Ab … im Kino”, the Spanish one “Estreno el…”. Everything can be rewritten.
Can I order it before the baby is born?
Yes: the date can be the due date. The time, length and weight are only known afterwards; leave them empty and they will not be printed.
Which size should I pick?
A4 for a frame you already have, 30 × 40 for a nursery, 40 × 60 for the proportions of a real cinema poster (2:3).
