Full description
Announce the pregnancy like a film trailer: a title (“Baby Murphy”, or the name if you know it), “Coming soon · expected” and the due month, a tagline and a subtitle. Below, three preview reviews signed Nana, Grandad or Uncle, the production — you — and the special guests: big brother, Nana or the cat.
A title and an expected date are all it takes: the poster writes only the month and the year, never a day, because babies don’t stick to the schedule. No showtime, weight or place, which do not exist yet. Four styles, from the midnight blue and gold of the big blockbuster to the black and white of a local picture house, via yellow comedy and arthouse. And on the day itself, our personalised birth movie poster follows the same idea.
- 250 g matte paper, pigment inks, printed to order.
- Five sizes: A4, 30 × 40, 40 × 60, 50 × 70 and 70 × 100 cm.
- Optional wooden frame on the A4 and 30 × 40, black, white or natural.
- Or the print-ready file: all five sizes, each as a PDF and a 300 dpi PNG, by download link.

How it works
- A title, an expected date
Give your film a title: “Baby Murphy”, or the name itself if you know it. The date is the due date, and the poster prints the month and year only.
- The tagline, the reviews, the credits
Pick from our suggestions or write your own; the production and the guests are optional.
- We print in France
To order, on 250 g matte paper: in our Aveyron workshop up to 40 × 60, at our printer beyond that, and every poster comes back through the workshop before it ships. Or you receive the download link for the file by e-mail.

Frequently asked questions
What does this teaser poster show?
This pregnancy announcement poster looks like a film trailer poster: a title (“Baby Murphy”, or the name), “Coming soon · expected” and the due month, a tagline, a subtitle, three preview reviews signed Nana, Grandad or Uncle, and credits with the production and the special guests. Four styles: midnight blue and gold, black and white, yellow comedy, arthouse.
Is it an original way to announce a pregnancy?
Yes, especially for parents-to-be with a sense of humour: instead of a scan photo, a film-trailer poster gives the news, with a title (“Baby Murphy”), the expected release and preview reviews. Hang it in the hall, or photograph it for family and friends; to share it online, the printable file includes the poster as a PNG and a PDF. A relative can also give it to them.
What do I need to order it?
A title and an expected date: everything else is optional. The tagline, subtitle and reviews come with suggestions you can keep, change or rewrite. The production and the guests are printed only if you fill them in.
Which date should I enter?
The due date. The poster prints only the month and the year — “expected March 2027” — never a day: babies never keep to a date, so the poster stays believable even if the baby comes a little early or late.
Do I need to know the name?
No: the title can be “Baby Murphy”, or any film title. If you are also announcing the name, put it in the title.
What happens to the poster after the birth?
It stays a keepsake of the pregnancy. For the birth, our personalised birth movie poster follows the same idea: the name as the title, the release date, the weight and the length in the credits.
Which size should I pick?
A4 for a frame you already have, 30 × 40 for the hall or a nursery, 40 × 60 for the proportions of a real cinema poster (2:3).
Which sizes and frames?
A4, 30 × 40, 40 × 60, 50 × 70 and 70 × 100 cm: standard frame sizes, easy to find. Optional wooden frame on the A4 and 30 × 40, in black, white or natural, with acrylic glass; the larger sizes ship rolled, to frame at home.
What paper is the poster printed on?
250 g/m² satin matte paper, lightfast pigment inks. Printed to order in our workshop up to 40 × 60, by our printer beyond that. Shipped rolled, in a sturdy long cardboard box; the A4 travels flat, in a stiff card envelope.
Can I get the file instead of the poster?
Yes. The print-ready file contains all five sizes, each as a PDF and as a 300 dpi PNG — ten files in all, by a download link sent after payment, to print wherever you like.
How long does it take?
Your poster is dispatched within 48 hours, then delivered in six to seven days to Ireland and the rest of Europe (four to five in France) — to your home or a pickup point, home delivery only for the 50 × 70 and 70 × 100. For a fixed date, allow ten days outside France. The download link for the printable file is sent as soon as payment is confirmed.
