Full description
The number of years set large, their two first names across it, and the count of all that time together: the months, the days and the hours since the wedding day. Below, four milestones of their life — two children, one dog, one home, thousands of coffees — each with its little drawing, then the name of the anniversary: china at twenty years, silver at twenty-five, golden at fifty.
You write the names, the wedding date and your four milestones; the number of years is suggested for you and stays editable, and the figures update as you type. The anniversary name is the one used in your country, not a translation of somebody else's calendar. The preview is exactly what goes to print.

Frequently asked questions
What does the print show?
Both first names at the top, the name of the anniversary in large type in the middle — wooden, silver, golden — and the number of years below it. Further down, every anniversary already behind them, one word each: paper, cotton, leather, flowers, wood… four words at five years, fourteen at fifty. At the foot, the short line you write, the wedding date and the place.
Where do the anniversary names come from?
From the traditional anniversary calendars — and we use the list for the language you order in. They are not translations of one another: the first year is paper in Britain, Germany and Spain but cotton in France; the tenth is tin in Britain, roses in Germany. A print ordered in German therefore carries the German calendar.
What if our anniversary is not on the print?
The print names nineteen of them: the first six, then every fifth year up to seventy. The British list names others in between — wool at seven, steel at eleven, lace at thirteen — but those vary from one list to the next. For those years the print sets the number of years in large type instead, and the run of anniversaries already behind them stays exact. We do not invent a material to fill a gap.
Can we give it before the anniversary itself?
Yes, and that is the usual case. The number of years is a field: the editor suggests it from the wedding date, and you correct it if you are planning next year's celebration. What you see is what goes to print — never a figure recalculated later.
Which sizes, framed or unframed?
Five sizes: A4, 30 × 40, 40 × 60, 50 × 70 and 70 × 100 cm, on 250 g matte paper printed to order. A wooden frame is offered on A4 and 30 × 40, in black, white or natural — standard frame sizes, easy to find. The larger sizes ship rolled in a sturdy tube, to be framed at home.
Can we print it ourselves?
Yes. The print-ready file gives all five sizes, each as a PDF and a 300 dpi PNG, through a download link sent after payment. It is the same print we produce ourselves, at the same size and the same resolution.
