Full description
Your marathon on a poster: the race name in big letters, the date, your exact route on the map with a marker every five kilometres, then your name, your finish time, your pace and your bib number, with the race’s elevation profile along the bottom. A keepsake of a first finish line, or a gift for the runner who trained all winter.
The route comes from your watch or app: upload the GPX file, or connect your Strava account and pick the run. The distance printed is the official race distance — 42.195 km for a marathon, 21.1 km for a half — not what your GPS measured, and your pace is worked out from your time. Six styles and a dedication if you like; the preview follows every change you make, and that is what goes to print.
- 250 g matte paper, pigment inks, printed to order.
- Five sizes: A4, 30 × 40, 40 × 60, 50 × 70 and 70 × 100 cm.
- Optional wooden frame on the A4 and 30 × 40, black, white or natural.
- Or the print-ready file: all five sizes, each as PDF and 300 dpi PNG, by download link.

How it works
- Bring your track
A GPX file from your watch or app, from which distance, time and elevation gain are computed, or a route from our library, with its distance.
- Frame it, pick a style and your text
The track on the map, exactly where it happened. Nine styles, a title, a subtitle, a dedication, the line of figures. Always portrait: what you see is what gets printed.
- We print in France
To order, on 250 g matte paper: in our Aveyron workshop up to 40 × 60, at our printer beyond that, and every poster comes back through the workshop before it ships. Or you receive the download link for the file by e-mail.

Frequently asked questions
Where does the route come from?
From your race, as your watch recorded it: upload the GPX file (Garmin, Coros, Polar, Suunto…) or connect your Strava account and pick the run. There is no library of marathons: courses change from one year to the next, and it is your own route that gets printed.
Why isn’t the printed distance the one on my watch?
Because GPS almost always measures a marathon a little longer than 42.195 km: corners taken wide, the signal bouncing between buildings. The poster prints the official race distance — 42.195 km, 21.1 km for a half, 10 or 5 km — and works out your pace from it. For any other distance, choose “Other”: the distance measured on your route is printed instead.
Which time is printed?
The one you type in, as h:mm:ss: ideally your official finish time, as it appears in the race results. When the field is empty, the editor suggests the time from your GPX file or Strava, which can differ from the official time; correct it if need be. The pace is recalculated as you type.
What do you do with my GPX file or my Strava account?
The GPX file is read in your browser and never sent to our servers. With Strava, we read the list of your activities and the track of the one you pick, then revoke our access with Strava as soon as the track is imported. Either way, only the simplified track, the elevation profile and the figures go with your order.
Can I give it as a gift if I’m not the runner?
Yes, as long as you have their route: ask them for the GPX file of their race (on the Strava website, “Export GPX” in the activity’s “…” menu) and upload it in the editor. Their name, time and bib number are in the results published by the race organisers. Without their route, the poster would print our example course.
Which sizes and frames?
A4, 30 × 40, 40 × 60, 50 × 70 and 70 × 100 cm: standard frame sizes, easy to find. Optional wooden frame on the A4 and 30 × 40, in black, white or natural, with acrylic glass; the larger sizes ship rolled, to frame at home.
What paper is the poster printed on?
250 g/m² satin matte paper, lightfast pigment inks. Printed to order in our workshop up to 40 × 60, by our printer beyond that. Shipped rolled, in a sturdy long cardboard box; the A4 travels flat, in a stiff card envelope.
Can I get the file instead of the poster?
Yes. The print-ready file contains all five sizes, each as a PDF and as a 300 dpi PNG — ten files in all, by a download link sent after payment, to print wherever you like.
How long does it take?
Printed within 48 hours, then delivered to your home or a pickup point — home delivery only for the 50 × 70 and 70 × 100. Allow a week in France and ten days elsewhere in the European Union. The download link for the print-ready file is sent the same day.
