Full description

The map of the place where it all began, with your photo set on it. The streets of the city where you met, the neighbourhood of your first home or the village where you got married, drawn from OpenStreetMap data and framed however you like; at the bottom of the map, a round photo sits half on the streets and half on the paper, with your names beneath it. The place, and the faces that made it yours.

You upload the photo and frame it with your finger inside the medallion; what you see is what is printed. We tell you before you buy if its resolution is too low for the size you picked. It is used only to make your print, never published, and we delete it thirty days after your order ships — or after purchase, for the print-ready file.

  • 250 g matte paper, pigment inks, printed to order.
  • Five sizes: A4, 30 × 40, 40 × 60, 50 × 70 and 70 × 100 cm.
  • Optional wooden frame on the A4 and 30 × 40, black, white or natural.
  • Or the print-ready file: all five sizes, each as a PDF and a 300 dpi PNG, by download link.

70 × 100 cm

The large wall size. 70 × 100 frames at IKEA (RÖDALM) and Desenio. Home delivery only.

Prefer to print it yourself? All five sizes, each as a PDF and as a 300 dpi PNG — ten files, by a download link sent after payment.

How it works

  1. You upload your photo

From your phone or your computer. You position it in the medallion with your finger, and we tell you if it is too small for the size you have chosen.

  2. Frame your place

A town, a neighbourhood, a beach. Drag and zoom until the framing looks right.

  3. Pick a style and your text

Nine styles, a title, a subtitle, a dedication, the coordinates. Always portrait: what you see is what gets printed.

  4. We print close to you

To order, on 250 g matte paper, at the partner workshop nearest to your address. Or you receive the download link for the file by e-mail.

Frequently asked questions

Which photo works best in the medallion?

One with the faces near the middle, and a phone photo is enough. The medallion is round: you reposition it with your finger and enlarge it with the slider, and the preview shows exactly what will be printed. If the resolution is too low for the size you picked, the page tells you before you buy.

Do the place and the photo have to match?

No. The map shows the place you search for; the photo is whichever one you upload. The city where you met with a wedding photo, or the neighbourhood of your first home with the first family portrait: the two are chosen separately.

Does the medallion hide part of the map?

It covers the middle of the bottom edge: half the circle sits on the streets, half on the paper. The place you search for is placed at the centre of the map, above the medallion, and you can drag the map to keep the street that matters in view. The preview shows exactly what will be printed.

What happens to the photo I upload?

It is used only to make your print. It is stored privately, never published, and we delete it thirty days after your order ships — or after purchase, for the print-ready file. The location data a phone photo carries is removed as soon as it is uploaded.

Is the photo printed in colour?

As you choose: in colour, exactly as you uploaded it, or in black and white, which suits the plainer map styles. You pick it in the editor and the preview shows it straight away.

Which place can I choose?

Any place in the world: a town, a neighbourhood, an address, a beach. The map is drawn from OpenStreetMap data — streets, rivers, parks and buildings — and you frame it yourself.

Which sizes and frames?

A4, 30 × 40, 40 × 60, 50 × 70 and 70 × 100 cm: standard frame sizes, easy to find (IKEA, HEMA, Action, Desenio). Optional wooden frame on the A4 and 30 × 40, in black, white or natural, with acrylic glass; the larger sizes ship rolled, to frame at home.

What paper is the poster printed on?

250 g/m² satin matte paper, lightfast pigment inks. Printed to order in our workshop up to 40 × 60, by our printer beyond that. Shipped rolled in a rigid tube; the A4 travels flat, in a stiff card envelope.

Can I get the file instead of the poster?

Yes. The print-ready file (€8.90) contains all five sizes, each as a PDF and as a 300 dpi PNG — ten files in all, by a download link sent after payment, to print wherever you like.

How long does it take?

Printed within 48 hours, then delivered to your home or a pickup point — home delivery only for the 50 × 70 and 70 × 100. The download link for the print-ready file is sent the same day.

Will the poster look exactly like the preview?

Yes: the preview is the printed rendering, framing, style and text included. Check the spelling before ordering, the poster is printed as is.
