Our Song
Aoife & Conor
House Records
14 June 2019
The preview is what gets printed. Your text runs in grooves around the record: if it is short it repeats, if it is long the letters tighten. The greyed-out lines are just an example: they are never printed.

Full description
Your song, your vows or your letter, written in the grooves of a vinyl record: every ring of the record is a line of your text, in capitals, running into the centre label. Above it, the title and, small, the artist, the label and the release date — “Our Song, Aoife & Conor, released 14 June 2019”. At the bottom, a message for whoever receives it.
The text is yours: the lyrics of a song you wrote, wedding vows, a love letter, a poem, a child’s words. A long text tightens to fit the record, a short one repeats until it is full, always a whole number of times. Four styles: cream and black, midnight blue and gold, seventies mustard, pale pink and burgundy. The preview updates as you type, and it is exactly what gets printed.

How it works
- You write the record
A title, an artist and your text — up to 2,500 characters, a whole song. A short text repeats to fill the record; a long one tightens the letters. The label, the release date and a message for whoever receives it are optional.
- You pick the style
Cream and black, midnight blue and gold, seventies mustard, or pale pink and burgundy. Only the colours and the lettering change.
- We print in France
To order, on 250 g matte paper: in our Aveyron workshop up to 40 × 60, at our printer beyond that, and every poster comes back through the workshop before it ships. Or you receive the download link for the file by e-mail.

Frequently asked questions
What gift for a first dance, a wedding anniversary or a music lover?
A vinyl record print: the words of their song, their vows or a letter written in the grooves of a record, with a title, the artists and a release date, like the sleeve of an album that exists only for the two of them. It makes a gift for a wedding, a couple’s anniversary, Valentine’s Day or someone who lives for music, and it is made to order.
What does the poster show?
A vinyl record where every ring is a line of your text, in capitals, running into the centre label. Above it, the title on the left and, small on the right, the artist, the label and the release date; below, a message for whoever receives it. Four styles: cream and black, midnight blue and gold, seventies mustard, pale pink and burgundy.
What can I write on the record?
Whatever you like, up to 2,500 characters: the lyrics of a song you wrote, wedding vows, a love letter, a poem, a child’s words. We don’t supply any text and print only what you type; you are responsible for it: for the lyrics of a published song, check that you have the right to reproduce them.
What if my text is very short or very long?
The record always fills up. A short text is repeated, separated by a middle dot, a whole number of times until the record is full; a long text makes the letters smaller so that everything fits. A whole song fits, up to 2,500 characters.
What can I personalise?
The title (28 characters), the artist (32), the text, and three optional lines: the label (32), the release date (24, written however you like: “14 June 2019”, “summer 2021”) and a message at the bottom (56). And the style, from four.
Is it a real vinyl record?
No, it is a matte paper poster that draws a record: there is no sound. The idea is to keep a song, or some words, as something you hang on the wall.
Is what I see what I will receive?
Yes: the preview is composed by the same editor as the print, and a “Check your poster” screen opens before the basket. The greyed-out lines are the page’s example: they are never printed.
Which size should I pick?
A4 or 30 × 40 for a short text or vows, in a frame you already have or the one we offer. For a whole song, 30 × 40 or 40 × 60 gives the letters in the grooves more room: they grow with the poster.
Which sizes and frames?
A4, 30 × 40, 40 × 60, 50 × 70 and 70 × 100 cm: standard frame sizes, easy to find. Optional wooden frame on the A4 and 30 × 40, in black, white or natural, with acrylic glass; the larger sizes ship rolled, to frame at home.
What paper is the poster printed on?
250 g/m² satin matte paper, lightfast pigment inks. Printed to order in our workshop up to 40 × 60, by our printer beyond that. Shipped rolled, in a sturdy long cardboard box; the A4 travels flat, in a stiff card envelope.
Can I get the file instead of the poster?
Yes. The print-ready file contains all five sizes, each as a PDF and as a 300 dpi PNG — ten files in all, by a download link sent after payment, to print wherever you like.
How long does it take?
Your poster is dispatched within 48 hours, then delivered in six to seven days to Ireland and the rest of Europe (four to five in France) — to your home or a pickup point, home delivery only for the 50 × 70 and 70 × 100. For a fixed date, allow ten days outside France. The download link for the printable file is sent as soon as payment is confirmed.
