Watercolour couple portrait poster, personalised — your photo, painted

A couple painted in watercolour from their photo: their faces, their smiles, their hair and their clothes, surrounded by a soft wash of colours and a few splashes, on textured paper. Both names can be written underneath in a handwritten script, with an optional line of text: a date, a few words. Four palettes to choose from: sage and ochre, powder pink, ocean blue or terracotta.

A sharp photo where both faces are clearly visible, head-on or three-quarter view, well lit and without sunglasses. A selfie works, and so does a wedding or holiday photo: the background disappears and only the couple is painted. A phone photo is enough — JPG, PNG or WEBP, up to 25 MB.

Yes. An artificial intelligence paints the portrait from your photo in about thirty seconds: it is not a hand-painted work. You see the result before you order, and exactly that image is what we print, in our workshop in Aveyron — nothing is redone or retouched between the screen and the paper.

You get three tries per photo, with the palette of your choice; a sharper, head-on, well-lit photo usually gives a better result. The names are written separately: you can change them at any time without redoing the portrait. The portrait is painted by an artificial intelligence, so a likeness is not guaranteed. Once the order is placed, the portrait you saw is the one that is printed; like any personalised poster, it cannot be returned, except for a fault or an error on our side.

Yes for two women, two men or a couple of any age. The portrait is designed for two people; with more than two, including a child or a pet, the result is not guaranteed. You see it before you order, with three tries per photo.

Use a photo of them that you already have: a wedding, a trip, a family meal — or ask a relative for one. The sharper, more head-on and better lit it is, the more faithful the portrait. You see the portrait before you pay: if it doesn’t look like them, try another photo rather than giving it as it is. For a wedding anniversary, write the date under their names.

Yes: under the two names, an optional line of text of up to 48 characters, for example “14 June 2016” or “Love at first sight”. It is written in handwriting, smaller than the names, and you see it before you order.

It is only used to make your poster. It is stored in a private space, never published, and we delete it thirty days after shipping — or after purchase, for the print-ready file — along with the painted portrait. Location data in a phone photo is removed as soon as it is uploaded. To be painted, the photo is sent to an artificial intelligence service (Google), which receives it for that purpose only.

A4, 30 × 40, 40 × 60, 50 × 70 and 70 × 100 cm: standard frame sizes, easy to find (IKEA, HEMA, Action, Desenio). Optional wooden frame on the A4 and 30 × 40, in black, white or natural, with acrylic glass; the larger sizes ship rolled, to frame at home.

250 g/m² satin matte paper, lightfast pigment inks. Printed to order in our workshop in Aveyron, whatever the size. Shipped rolled, in a sturdy long cardboard box; the A4 travels flat, in a stiff card envelope, and a framed poster in a cardboard box.

Yes. The print-ready file contains all five sizes, each as a PDF and as a 300 dpi PNG — ten files in all, by a download link sent after payment, to print wherever you like.

Printed within 48 hours, then delivered to your home or a pickup point — home delivery only for the 50 × 70 and 70 × 100. The download link for the print-ready file is sent the same day.
