Full description
Your dog or cat sitting on the throne, a newspaper unfolded in front of it, in a tidy bathroom: the family photo nobody dared to take. From a photo, an artificial intelligence makes the scene: its breed, coat, eyes and muzzle carry over, and what surrounds it in the photo disappears. The newspaper shows no text, only grey blocks — the headline on the front page is yours to write.
At the top, the front page of the daily carries the paper’s name and a headline you write: “Do Not Disturb”, “This Could Take an Hour”. Its name is read on a sign at the foot of the poster. Real text, written exactly as you typed it.
The image fills the whole sheet, from A4 to 70 × 100 cm: on the 30 × 40 a little of the top and bottom is cropped, never the animal’s head or its name.
You upload the photo and the preview appears in about thirty seconds. You see what will be printed before you order: that image, and no other, is the one that goes to print. It is made by an artificial intelligence, and a likeness is not guaranteed; only the animal is used, and the rest of the photo disappears. The photo is never published and we delete it thirty days after dispatch — or after purchase, for the printable file. You get three tries per photo. Its name and the line that goes with it are real text, written exactly as you typed them: you can change them at any time without redoing the portrait.

What does the dog or cat on the loo poster show?

Can the newspaper it is holding be read?
No: the newspaper in the image shows no text, only grey blocks. The only words on the poster are the ones you write — the headline and the name — and the title of the daily, which is fixed.
Where should I hang this poster?
Where it makes people laugh: in the loo, the hall, a corridor. The poster is printed on matte paper; in a damp room, a frame with acrylic glass protects it better than a poster on its own (frame optional on A4 and 30 × 40).
Which photo should I choose?
A sharp photo where you can see its head, muzzle and eyes clearly, front-on or three-quarter view, in daylight. A phone photo is enough — JPG, PNG or WEBP, up to 25 MB. Only the animal is used: in our tests, people, the lead and the background of the photo did not appear on the poster.
Is the portrait made by an artificial intelligence?
Yes. An artificial intelligence makes the portrait from your photo, in about thirty seconds: it is neither a painting nor a drawing made by hand. You see the result before you order, and exactly that image is printed, in our workshop in Aveyron — nothing is redone or retouched between the screen and the paper.
What if the portrait doesn’t look like my pet?
You get three tries per photo; a sharper, front-on photo usually gives a better result, but a likeness is never guaranteed. The name and the line of text are written separately: you can change them at any time without redoing the portrait. Once you have ordered, the portrait you saw is the one that is printed; like any personalised poster, it cannot be taken back, except for a defect or a mistake on our part.
What happens to the photo I upload?
It is used only to make your poster. It is stored in a private space, never published, and we delete it thirty days after dispatch — or after purchase, for the printable file — together with the portrait. The location data of a phone photo is removed on upload. To make the portrait, the photo is passed to an artificial intelligence service (Google), which receives it for that purpose only.
Which sizes and frames are available?
A4, 30 × 40, 40 × 60, 50 × 70 and 70 × 100 cm: standard frame sizes, easy to find. An optional wooden frame on A4 and 30 × 40, black, white or natural, with acrylic glass; the larger sizes are delivered rolled, to be framed at home. The image fills the whole sheet: on the 30 × 40, a little of the top and bottom is cropped.
What paper is the poster printed on?
250 g/m² satin matte paper, light-resistant pigment inks. Printed to order in our workshop in Aveyron, whatever the size. Shipped rolled, in a long rigid cardboard box; the A4 goes flat in a cardboard sleeve, and a framed poster in a cardboard box.
Can I receive the file instead of the poster?
Yes. The printable file contains all five sizes, each as a PDF and a 300 dpi PNG — ten files in all, via a download link sent after payment, so you can print it wherever you like.
How long does it take?
Printed and dispatched within 48 hours, then delivered to your home or to a pick-up point — the 50 × 70 and 70 × 100 can only be delivered to your home. The download link for the printable file is sent the same day.
